The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS has funded the equipment for a treatment room in the new Same Day Emergency Centre at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool. The new centre aims to significantly improve emergency care for children and reduce waiting times.
With the modern equipment – consisting of construction cost subsidy, cabin elements, a new treatment couch and a clinical workstation – young patients can be treated even faster and more precisely by the right specialists in the future.
The commissioning of the new treatment room is already underway, with the official opening of the entire centre planned for early 2027. Then even more children will be able to benefit from the improved emergency care.
