With the new partnership for the sports initiative ZAM AKTIV, the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation DRYING LITTLE TEARS and FC Bayern München are working together to inspire primary school children in Munich to take part in sport and exercise regularly. FC Bayern München gemeinsam dafür ein, Grundschulkinder in München regelmäßig für Sport und Bewegung zu begeistern.
At the kick-off at the FC Bayern Campus, around 90 children enjoyed an energetic morning full of sport, team spirit and unforgettable encounters. The young talents Leonard Prescott and Laila Portella didn’t just take part. They cheered the children on, competed alongside them in the disciplines and brought beaming smiles to their faces. Mascot Berni provided additional excitement. In a varied station competition, the schoolchildren experienced first-hand how important mutual support, fairness and togetherness are.

Through the cooperation, up to 50 educational institutions in Munich are to be reached in the future, with a particular focus on schools with greater support needs, in order to give primary-school-age children simple and motivating access to exercise and sport. It is not only about physical activity, but also about values such as community, fairness and joy in movement. Because together, movement is even more fun.
