An oasis of peace The Caritas Baby Hospital is based in Bethlehem in the Palestinian Territories and is the only exclusively paediatric hospital in the entire West Bank. The hospital treats all children regardless of their social and religious background and is financed exclusively through private donations. The hospital has an outpatient clinic as well as 82 beds for inpatient paediatric treatment. It sees itself as an oasis of peace amid the tense political, social and economic situation in the West Bank and strengthens the Christian presence in Bethlehem.
