The Sixt Operations Team Germany organized a vibrant summer festival for young patients and their families at Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg as part of a DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day. Together with the children's ward and the parent-child center of the hospital, Sixt employees created a special day full of games and joy for 60 children aged one to 16 years.
The festival not only brought together the hospital's little patients but also opened its doors to children from daycare, employees' children as well as children from neighboring kindergartens. Through various ring toss games, participants could demonstrate their skills and enjoy prizes such as t-shirts, caps or small sweets.
The Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg, an academic teaching hospital of Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin with 661 beds, provides specialized medical care for children and adolescents. This DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day enabled Sixt employees to create shared moments of joy away from the clinical routine and offer young patients and families a welcome change of pace.
