As part of a DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day, employees from SIXT SE's Revenue Management joined forces with AKA – Aktiv für interKulturellen Austausch e.V. to give a garden project in Munich's Hypopark a much-needed makeover. The association provides children between 5 and 11 years old with a migration background a safe place to play, learn, and develop in nature. The team repaired raised beds, sanded and painted garden furniture to make it fully weatherproof, reorganised the garden shed, and installed a rain gutter to collect rainwater – a practical relief for the little gardeners. In addition, a container was fitted with a wardrobe and a cork board, giving children's artwork its own dedicated display space.

It was truly something special to tackle every challenge together, experience a wonderful team day, and know that we truly made a difference for the kids. Beyond the practical work, the day offered a valuable insight into how this organisation supports children every day." – Christina Hintermaier, Executive Product Analyst Operations Research
