Establishment of a movement room for inclusive training
The non-profit UG TABALiNGO in Stolberg and Aachen offers sports and cultural leisure activities for about 320 children and young people. The focus is on people with disabilities, who often encounter exclusion and have great problems participating in normal sports and cultural activities. As the number of participants in TABALiNGO's services increased, so did the demand for additional rooms. For this reason, thanks to the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, a further movement room was set up, so that there is enough space for theatre, creative dance and sporting activities.
Equipping a group therapy room to promote inclusion

Construction of a 'play-ship' for a day care center
The inclusive Day Care center 'Kleine Ritter' in Tangermünde, Germany, currently provides 199 children with and without support needs with a place to play and learn together. The children are offered the best possible support through early intervention schools and rooms for therapy lessons. The support of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation has made it possible to build a play-ship on the outdoor area, which could not be used before due to reduced lawn growth and outdated play equipment. By playing on the ship the children can improve their motoric and coordination skills, which ultimately promotes their cognitive as well as social skills.
New TV monitors for pediatric cardiology
The German Heart Center in the clinic at the Technical University of Munich has been supported by the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation for several years now. SIXT employees regularly visit the children in the pediatric cardiology department at Easter and Christmas.
