SIXT employees got involved on DRYING LITTLE TEARS Day for children of the DRK Rostock and transformed the facility into an even more beautiful place to feel at home. Together with the caregivers, the volunteers rolled up their sleeves: They painted and renovated courtyards, lovingly built bird and hedgehog houses, and beautified seating areas for the children.

The facility of the German Red Cross offers children who have already had bad experiences a safe retreat with support, structure and care. Through the beautification work, new areas were created where the children can feel even more comfortable and actively experience their surroundings. The newly created bird and hedgehog houses also bring nature closer and create observation opportunities for the young residents.
