For 26 years, foundation founder Regine Sixt has been inviting around 200 children from social and medical facilities to the Munich Oktoberfest as part of Regine's Kinderwiesn – for a day full of laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments.

Clowns, magicians, fairground rides, sweets, and plenty of surprises once again ensured in 2026 that these children were simply allowed to be children. Volunteer SIXT employees did everything in their power to make sure that every child could experience this special day to the fullest.

Regine's Kinderwiesn was also made possible by the generous support of partners and sponsors Schützenfestzelt, Mattel and Christian Terschanski. Together, they transformed the Oktoberfest into a magical playground for these children – a place where all worries could be forgotten for a day. Regine's Kinderwiesn is thus year after year an impressive testament to what becomes possible when heart and commitment come together.
