The SIXT employees prepared fresh salads, grilled food, sauces and dips together in radiant weather, providing a welcome change from the stressful hospital routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volunteers were already active in the kitchen from 4:30 PM before the grill was lit at 6:30 PM. In a warm and open atmosphere, the families quickly struck up conversations with the SIXT employees and visibly enjoyed the time together. Particularly moving for the team was the gratitude of the parents, who find themselves in the middle of a difficult situation with their children suffering from heart conditions. As a crowning finish, dessert was served with fresh strawberries. \"This is the first positive thing I've experienced here in two weeks,\" one mother shared her feelings with the team.
