FC Bayern Basketball One Team enters the new season: First training session at the SAP Garden

For the third consecutive year, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is supporting FC Bayern Basketball's One Team. Joining the initiative for the first time is Arche München.

For their first training session, the children and teenagers aged 6 to 15 gathered at a very special venue: for the first time, the young basketball players had the opportunity to train at the SAP Garden, home venue of FC Bayern Basketball's EuroLeague games.

One Team is the EuroLeague's social responsibility project, which FC Bayern Basketball runs in Munich in collaboration with local partner organisations. The focus is on regular training sessions where children and young people not only improve their basketball skills but also learn about team spirit, respect and mutual support, regardless of their background, age or language.

For the third season in a row, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is supporting this project. The partner organisation, however, is new: Arche München provides children and young people with a safe place and new opportunities through services such as meals, homework support and leisure activities. We are delighted to have them on board this season.

There is also news when it comes to the ambassadors: Justinian Jessup and Miles Norris are joining One Team as new ambassadors and were already part of the opening training session. Sharing the court with the professionals, shooting, dribbling and laughing together was a highlight for the children – and their excitement was clearly written all over their faces.
